A dirty pour is a technique in which the artist mixes more than one paint color in the same container before adding it to the canvas or substrate. When the paints begin to mix on the canvas they can create some awesome blends and patterns. Keep in mind though that some color combinations can become muddy.  

As you can probably imagine results can vary widely, but don't let that stop you from giving it a shot.
